Italy's Emanuele Sella, of the CSF Group team, won the 14th stage of the Giro d'Italia from Verona to the ski resort of Alpe di Pampeago in the Dolomites yesterday. Sella was part of an early 13-rider attack and then jumped away alone on the Passo Manghen climb, 55 kilometres from the finish. Italy's Gabriele Bosisio, of the LPR Brakes team, is the new overall race leader.
