A skateboarding centre in Kent, the UK, has started lessons just for girls to encourage loads more girls to enjoy the sport.
The girls, complete with their own female teacher, will have the place to themselves. Their instructor said the girls were often embarrassed and nervous if boys were around, watching them while they practised new tricks.
The young skateboarders think it is a brilliant idea. One girl said she really liked the girls-only lessons because boys know how to do it really easily and they can just easily get you with their skateboard and push you over.
We'd like to hear what you think about girls, or boys, only activities. Do boys and girls spoil things for each other by being rough or putting someone down? And what would you do to make things better and fairer?
