Maltese teams Fuego Champs and All Ages Eurochange have just competed in overseas tournaments which took place in the Isle of Man and Cyprus.

Fuego Champs took part in the annual Club Netball Festival, organised by the Manx Netball Association, while All Ages figured in a four-team competition, hosted by the Akrotiri Netball Club.

Fuego Champs became the first foreign team to play in the Isle of Man netball festival which was first held three years ago. In all, 15 teams took part, mostly from the UK.

Fuego Champs secured a place in the top group following the qualifying round. They went on to finish a creditable third overall after a series of encouraging performances against the best teams in the competition.

The tournament in Cyprus was held over two days. All Ages Eurochange played against British military base teams in Akrotiri, Dhekelia and Episkopi.

All Ages Eurochange won two of the games but lost to hosts Akrotiri 38-32 in the decisive match.
