An Austrian brewery has promised a lifetime's supply of beer to any Austrian player that scores in the remaining two matches of the group stage.

Sizi Menz, chief executive officer of Ottakringer Brauereu AG said that "maybe this type of motivation will give the last push which the team needs to be successful" and will personally be presenting the beer.

Fans remain concerned about Austria's disjointed performance in the tournament.

An online petition was created, asking the organisers to substitute the team with another that deserved to be in the tournament.

Clothes mocking the Austrian national team have also hit the market.

Austria started the tournament on a bad note after being beaten by Croatia on Sunday. And hope remains low as the team faces Poland today and Germany on Monday.

Austria will be eliminated should they lose tonight's game.
