Former Juventus and Italy striker Fabrizio Ravanelli will be in Malta between April 20 and 22 as a guest of the Juventus Club DOC Malta Cuore Bianconero in Mriehel.

Details about the visit were announced during a press conference where a video message by Ravanelli was aired.

Ravanelli scored 41 goals in 111 matches with Juventus, with his memorable goal remaining the one scored during the 1996 Champions League final against Ajax.

Juventus won this edition, and their only Champions League to date, following a penalty shootout.

With Juventus, Ravanelli won the 1992/93 UEFA Cup, the Serie A and Coppa Italia of 1994/95 and the Supercoppa Italiana of 1995. He also played 22 games and scored eight goals for Italy’s national team.

During the same press conference, the club’s President Omar Busuttil described the visit as a recognition towards the club’s members, who helped it achieve the title of the largest foreign Juventus supporters club in terms of DOC members, with a total of more than 770 members.

Recently, the Juventus Club DOC Malta Cuore Bianconero also launched its’ new official website, juventusmalta.com.
