• The International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope John XXIII is holding an evening of prayer at St Francis church, Republic Street, Valletta, on Wednesday at 5.30 p.m., including Mass and a few minutes of adoration.

• The National Council of Women will be holding a Eco Café at the National Council of Women Centre, Blata l-Bajda, on May 28 at 5.30 p.m. The programme will include informal talks by members of the environment committee on practical gardening, demonstrations on how to plant cuttings, transplanting and care of indoor plants and flower arranging. • St Joseph School, Blata l-Bajda, is organising the crowning of Our Lady in the school chapel for all past pupils on May 28 at 7 p.m. The activity will mark the 50th anniversary since the foundation stone of the school was laid, and Mass will be followed by light refreshments.
