Mr PAUL KEEGAN and Ms YLENIA DARMANIN
The marriage took place on Saturday, May 3, at St John of the Cross parish church, Ta' Xbiex, between PAUL, son Mr Justice and Mrs Hilary Keegan of N. Ireland, and YLENIA, daughter of Mr and Mrs Anthony Darmanin of Ta' Xbiex. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Edgar Busuttil, SJ, together with Fr John Cargan. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr Katja Psaila Savona, and Mrs Valerie Beirne. Mr Ben Ruffels and Mr Niall Sheerin carried out the duties of best men. Ms Katya Bonello, Mrs Janine Houghton, M. Johanna Jones and Ms Ingrid Smith attended the bride. Mr Brian Keegan, Mr Hilary Keegan, Mr Mark Kelly and Mr William C. Sudduth acted as ushers. A reception was later held at The Corinthia San Ġorġ Hotel, St Julians. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Hawaii.
Obituary
CALNAN-RUSH - PATRICIA JOY, née Marchant, beloved wife of the late Commander Denis Calnan, Royal Navy and Knight of the Religion, and the late Major George Rush, Scots Guards. Passed away peacefully at home on May 12, aged 84, surrounded by her family, blessed in the rites of the Church, after an illness borne with faith and quiet courage. Loving mother to Terence Desmond and Janey, kind friend to George's step-daughter Angela, devoted granny to Tom, Ben, Katharine and Josephine, and caring mother-in-law of Pam and Julie.
Your selfless love and beauty shone through, touching the lives of all who knew you. We will miss you.

CHETCUTI. On May 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Senglea, former dockyard employee, residing at Fgura, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his children Sandra and her husband Godwin Galea, Josette and her husband Joe Schembri, his grandchildren Neil, Warren, Leanne and Justin, his brothers and sisters, in-laws and their respective spouses and families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Fgura, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Tarxien cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
