• A Pentecost celebration will be held on Tuesday from 7.15 to 8.30 p.m., at Freedom Square, Valletta, organised by the Malta Ecumenical Council, the Catholic Charismatic Movement, and the Catholic Diocese. The event will consist of prayers, readings from the Holy Scriptures, and singing. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside St Paul's Anglican Cathedral.
• The Church's Culture Commission is organising a conference by Fr Anton Abela, president of the Bible Society, on music and singing in the Holy Books, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Institute, Floriana. The conference is part of a series entitled 'Culture and Faith'.
• The next MIR prayer meeting for families led by Fr Hayden Williams, OFM Cap, will take place on Thursday between 7 and 10 p.m. at the Capuchins Church, Floriana. Mass will also be said. • Personal and community discernment are the subjects of two meetings to be organised at the Augustinian Sisters Hall, Fleur-de-Lys, on Friday and May 23, at 6.30 p.m. by the Secretariat for Parish Life and Activities and the Institute for Pastoral Formation.
Fr Arthur Vella, SJ, will speak about personal discernment at the first meeting, while Fr Joe Galea Curmi will speak about community discernment at the second meeting. Archbishop Paul Cremona will conclude the meetings.
