• Sliema Spring Fest is being held along St Trophimus Street, Sliema, in front of the parish church and the band club, today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is organised by the Feast Commission of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a fundraising activity. Stalls will be selling food, wine, fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers, herbs, traditional delicatessen, and Maltese lace. Mass will be celebrated at Sacro Cuor church at 8 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

• There will be a fundraising car wash in aid of Land Group at the Aviation Museum, Ta' Qali, from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. today. Each car wash will cost €5.

• The Domenican Sisters are organising a bazaar at 49, Main Street, Naxxar from tomorrow until May 17 between 8.30 a.m. and noon and from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m.

• The next public meeting for members of the ADHD Family Support will be the Annual General Meeting held at Junior College, Msida, on Friday, at 6.30 p.m. Charmaine Agius Ferrante will give a talk about study tips to help parents with the upcoming exams. There will be PSD teachers for older ADHD children but no child minders for children under six. The library will open at 6 p.m.

• Caritas Co-operators are having a day out at the Ramla Bay Hotel and resort on Wednesday. The day starts with coffee/tea and biscuits at 10.30 a.m., followed by a talk by Francesca Balzan on 'History of jewellery in Malta', Mass at noon, buffet lunch and tea or coffee at 4.30 p.m. Cards or any other game may be played. The group leaves Żurrieq bus terminus for Sliema at 8.15 a.m. to go on a harbour cruise. This will be followed by lunch in Mġarr. Mass will be celebrated at Providence church, Siġġiewi.
