The water and electricity bills proved how right the For.U.M. had been in opposing the unjust tariffs, it said in a statement.

The For.U.M. said that pensioners and businessmen were feeling the burden more than ever before and thousands of families were being constrained to request paying their bills by instalments.

Many families were having to make do without essential items to pay the bills and they were eagerly waiting the compensation promised by the government.

Workers now wanted to know the position of those social partners who opted not to protest.
