Mark Anthony Sammut, PN, has been elected councillor in the Gudja council.

He was elected with 443 votes against a quota of 339.

Mario Calleja (PL) was elected on the third count. He will be mayor. Romeo Baldacchino, PL, was elected on the fifth count while Tony Dalli and Osvaldo Pace, both PL, were elected on the seventh count.
