On Friday, the MV Sapphire leaves on the last four-day cruise of the season. This will be the final opportunity for all those who wish to enjoy a Euromed cruise that also includes a stop in Rome.
The four-day cruise's first stop is Naples, where passengers can choose to visit the ruins of Pompeii and the town of Sorrento or the island of Capri. The next day, the ship docks at Civitavecchia, where passengers have the opportunity to explore Rome.
The final stop on the cruise is Messina, where passengers can enjoy excursions either to Taormina or Catania.
"This week, our first schedule of cruises for 2002 comes to an end and so this weekend is the last opportunity for all those who want to visit Rome," said Iain Tonna, managing director of Euromed Cruises.
"As from next week, our new schedule will begin. This schedule will feature a three-day cruise to Naples and Messina and two two-day cruises that will visit Tunis or Messina," Mr Tonna continued.
Euromed Cruises will continue to operate the MV Sapphire until the end of October, offering short, affordable cruises.
