Ferrari have confirmed that they will launch their 2011 Formula One challenger on January 28.

The Scuderia had always been confident of having the car ready by the end of the month and will be the first team to reveal their new car ahead of the first race of the season in Bahrain on March 13.

Team principal Stefano Domenicali confirmed the date when speaking to media at the Wroom event in Italy, adding that the car that races at Sakhir will be very different to the one on display at the launch with several development updates to be added.

"The car we see at the launch won't be the one we'll see at the first race in Bahrain, we'll see different things," he told reporters.

The first test ahead of the new season begins at the Valencia circuit in Spain on February 1.
