Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand trained today ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg at Arsenal tomorrow, the club said on their website (www.manutd.com).

Ferdinand bruised his lungs in Wednesday's 1-0 first leg victory and was rested for Saturday's 2-0 Premier League win at Middlesbrough.

Fellow defenders Patrice Evra, who picked up a knock against Boro, and Wes Brown did not train on Monday however.
