An adaptation of Alan Ayckburn’s play The Boy Who Fell into a Book will be staged next weekend.

Teatru Qroqq presents It-Tifla li Waqħet Ġo Ktieb by Trevor Zahra. The play takes the audience on an interactive adventure with Marica, who travels through the books on her bookshelf with her favourite superhero, Ċagħkasamm.

Both Marica and Ċagħkasamm take a journey through Grimm’s Fairytales, a chess book and Zahra’s Meta Jaqa’ iċ-Ċpar.

Marica and Ċagħkasamm are chased by a malicious character and have to overcome various challenging and dangerous situations and obstacles throughout the play.

The target audience for It-Tifla li Waqħhet Ġo Ktieb is children aged between six and 12 and adults who are young at heart.

It will be staged at the MITP, Valletta, on Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m. To book tickets, e-mail St James Cavalier on boxoffice@sjcav.org or call 2122 3200.
