The many pantomimes we have seen in past years have always been a source of fun and entertainment.
However, I feel that Masquerade's Jack and the Beanstalk at the Manoel Theatre reached new heights in terms of production. The set, script, direction, costumes, music, singing and acting (including, of course, Jozette's memorable Dame T) all oozed quality. The director's experience shone through as did the talent of the entire cast, most of whom evidently benefit from years of disciplined tutoring in theatre arts.
Well done indeed to all those involved for giving us a magical performance!
