A puppet show starring Ġaħan and personalities from Portugal, Italy, Romania, France, Poland and Latvia has been jointly created by students from St Ignatius College's Maria Regina Girls' Junior Lyceum, Blata l-Bajda, and other schools participating in the three-year Comenius project 'Discovering Europe Using New Technologies'.

The show, together with other works prepared during these past two years can be viewed on the project website . The college's project co-ordinator is Keith Aquilina.

Two teachers, Daphne Caruana and Claire Zammit, accompanied by two students, Petra Borg and Elizabeth Boxall recently participated in a project partners meeting held in Lorient, France. During the meeting, the participants discussed the project's benefits, especially with regard to the use of new technologies, and put forward solutions for the main difficulties and limiting factors encountered, such as some such as the school population, the students' age and language difficulties.

During the visit the participants also visited schools and beautiful, historic places of interest such as Mont St Michel, Port Louis, Cleguer, St Malo and St Gaustav.

The Maltese delegation's visit was supported by the Education Division and through funds allocated from the Socrates EU programme by the European Union Programmes Unit (EUPU).
