The search is on for Europe's most creative film on what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

For the second time, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry is inviting imaginative filmmakers to participate in the European Entrepreneurship Video Awards (EEVA 2010). Participants can register until April 9 at http://ec.europa.eu/eeva 2010 .

The European Entrepreneurship Video Award is divided into categories: 'Entrepreneurship - A different way of life', 'Entrepreneurship - Challenges and rewards' and 'Entrepreneurship - The way into the future'.

Prizes of €3,333, €2,222 and €1,111 will be awarded respectively to the winner, second and third placed in each category. In addition, five of the best contestants aged 25 or younger who have not qualified for one of the nine prizes in these categories, will be awarded €555 each.

The competition is open to all natural and legal persons who are citizens or residents of a member state of the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Turkey and Israel.

The awards are part of European SME Week, an initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship across Europe and informing entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized enterprises about the support available at European, national, regional and local level.
