The European Business Aviation Association is to hold its next meeting in Malta next month, according to Malta Business Aviation Association president Stanley Bugeja.

Mr Bugeja said the EBAA board’s decision was a demonstration of the importance Malta is starting to play within this important business aviation community.

He was addressing participants in the first safety management systems three-day workshop at the Executive Training Institute, held in collaboration with the EBAA.

The workshop, held with the support of ESE and The George hotel in Paceville, was in accordance with International Business Aviation Council safety standards and in line with the new EU regulations.

Participants included local business jet operators and aviation consultants as foreign delegates.
