One of the delights of my (regular) visits to Malta is buying The Times and The Sunday Times and spending a leisurely hour or so reading through the papers, news, opinion, letters, all of them a good way to gauge local feelings and to see what's on. It is the first thing I want on the plane over - even before a drink!

So now I am in the 21st century and computerised it is a delight to be able to read your papers daily on the Net, and your site is very accessible too, even to computer illiterates like me.

I can rejoice in I.M. Beck getting the steam up about something (and even better acknowledging when he gets it wrong!) and "Sylvanus" brings out many a loud chuckle as I sit in front of the screen, but where, oh where are those treasures I so love to read off the printed page, the cultural items, often the middle page spread in The Sunday Times, about Malta's history and heritage, books published, concerts and shows performed? Please try to include them - not only Maltese but regulars like me want to know.

Editor's note:
Because of space limitations on our server, it is impossible to fit in features along with other regular contributions. The electronic version has a different identity to the newspaper's.
