The University will be open to the public during the Discover University open week, from tomorrow until Saturday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Visitors will be able to explore the University and learn about life on campus, courses, research, student life, sports and culture. Visitors will also be able to visit the library, Malta University Holding Company and the Malta University Press, as well as Junior College, the University campus and the Gozo campus, where two new halls are being inaugurated.
Activities planned include exhibitions, talks, presentations and demonstrations. There will also be hourly campus tours.
Canteen facilities will be available to all, and throughout the week the University IT Services are providing open wi-fi to visitors.
A concert will be held at Junior College, Msida, on Tuesday, and an Irish and Celtic music performance will be held on Wednesday.
The Malta University Press will also be holding a mega sale of their books in the main pavillion.
A concert by Nafra and Big Band Brothers will take place on Friday, while an 18th century lunch is being held at the canteen on Saturday at 1 p.m.
