Chiara has just returned from Moscow where she was given a warm reception by some 100 loyal fans, eager to boost her morale after the singer placed 22nd from 25 countries in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Chiara was battling her emotions as she reached Malta International Airport and despite her disappointment at the result, she is not excluding one day returning back on the stage she loves so much.

"I don't exclude anything. At the moment I'm angry, but the Eurovision is a game and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose," she said.

The official Eurovision website today released the placings of the semi-final, which saw Chiara ranking sixth from 18 countries.

"I'm still confused at how certain countries didn't vote," she said referring to Greece, Cyprus, and Belgium.

"I just hope people are happy with my performance because I gave it my best."
