Italy's Danilo Di Luca re-took the overall race lead with victory on the fourth stage of the Giro d'Italia yesterday.

The Liquigas rider beat compatriots Riccardo Ricco and Damiano Cunego in a sprint finish.

Di Luca had previously worn the leader's pink jersey after the second stage before losing it to team-mate Enrico Gasparotto.

Today's 173-km fifth stage is from Teano to Frascati near Rome.
