St Martin's College Sixth Form, Swatar, has set up nine new lecture rooms to accommodate its increased student population. This year the college welcomed 61 first year students.

When the college's Sixth Form opened its doors a year ago, its initial target was to attract 40 students but this had to be adjusted to take in 57 first year students and nine third year students.

A reception was recently held for students' parents to visit the newly extended lecture rooms which, similar to the original ones, are fully air-conditioned and equipped with flat screens and computers.
