THX Ltd has reconfirmed Eden Leisure Group's cinema 16 as the only THX certified cinema screen on the island.

For patrons, the certification is a promise that the auditorium is designed, constructed, installed and tested for sound and picture excellence, a spokesman for the cinema operators said.

THX was founded in 1983 by George Lucas to set sound and picture performance standards in the cinematic industry.
