A group of students, most of whom are already working in marketing, are currently attending lectures at the European Institute of Education (EIE) in Ta' Xbiex to prepare for the June 2009 exams of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional certificate and diploma in Marketing.
The next intake takes place in January 2009, while lectures will soon be announced for the final level postgraduate diploma in Marketing. Places are limited and early booking is recommended.
During the inaugural session of the CIM October intake, EIE president Antonello Cappitta commented that obtaining a CIM qualification would in itself be a marketing tool for the students to enhance their employability opportunities both locally and abroad, since CIM is renowned worldwide.
EIE obtained the status of a CIM-accredited study centre in late 2007, thereby enabling it to start training students to obtain CIM qualifications and pursue a career in the ever increasing and challenging world of marketing.
