Birkirkara midfielder Trevor Cilia clinched the BOV Player of the Month award for April and May 2010. This follows the award won by the same player for February.

Cilia is widely acknowledged as a key member of Birkirkara, having played a remarkable role in helping his team scoop the BOV Premier League title for season 2009-2010.

His vital goal in a 1-0 victory over title rivals Valletta in March was followed up by five more conversions in the run-in for the league crown over the past two months.

His contribution to the Stripes' success, rubber-stamped by his versatility in midfield as well as a goal-scorer, has boosted the performances of his team-mates, while attracting the attention of national coach John Buttigieg.

Charles Borg, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta, presented the trophy to Cilia who chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
