Motoring TV show Paqpaq is organising a car show on December 20 and 21 to raise funds for this year's l-Istrina charity marathon. The event will also feature all local motoring clubs.

The show will be held at the Valletta Gateway Terminal warehouse, next to the Valletta Waterfront. At 5,400 square metres, the warehouse provides ample space for vehicles to be exhibited irrespective of the weather. Initial feedback from car importers and local clubs point towards one of the largest motoring shows ever held in Malta.

This is the third consecutive edition that Paqpaq producer and host Tonio Darmanin is holding Paqpaqli għall-Istrina.

The event will showcase most of the new vehicles currently available on the market.

Motoring clubs are expected to put on a spectacle for all enthusiasts. In past editions, the wide range on show spanned from military vehicles, customised cars, two-, three- and four-wheeled motorcycles, American classic and muscle cars, collector luxury classics, to the old motors which traditionally exhibit the largest collection.

Owners of interesting vehicles who are not affiliated to any club or any newly set up associations should call Mr Darmanin on 7955 9955 to participate.

The new car show will be held on December 20 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. On December 21, local club members will join the new car show with their vehicles between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The €5 entrance fee will be donated to l-Istrina. A free shuttle bus service will run between the Valletta bus terminus and the Valletta Gateway Terminal for all visitors who use the Park and Ride facility.
