The third race from the Intermediates HSBC 4-stroke League at Badger Karting took place on Sunday at Ta' Qali.

Steve Camilleri claimed his first win of the season with a fine showing, dominating both qualifying session and race. Edwin Cassar occupied second position for most of the race but was chased relentlessly by Andrea Frendo, Ronald Carbonaro and Nigel Dunkerly.

On the last lap the pressure took its toll when Cassar went wide in one of the corners.

Frendo and Carbonaro profited from his mistake to finish second and third behind Camilleri.

Certainly, it was a memorable outing for Camilleri. He also clocked the fastest lap of the evening - 36.36 seconds.
