Jonathan Galea was recently called to the Bar of England and Wales at Middle Temple after completing his two-year Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law School in Holborn, London.

BPP is one of only eight schools authorised by the General Council of the Bar of England and Wales to prepare candidates to become barristers-at-law. The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple is one of the four Inns of Court that have the exclusive right to call men and women to the English Bar.

Mr Galea completed an LL.B Honours degree at the University of London from 2005 to 2008, with specialisations in EU Law and Public International Law.

Mr Galea has served as a diplomat at Malta's foreign ministry since 1994 and also served briefly at the Ministry of Finance and Political Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London.

He is married to Maria Borovikova and they have two children, Alexander and Elizabeth.
