Serbia: Left back Aleksandar Kolarov will replace the injured Aleksandar Lukovic in Serbia's World Cup qualifier in Romania on March 28, the Serbian Football Federation (FSS) said. "Lukovic sustained a hamstring injury while playing for his club Udinese in Thursday's UEFA Cup tie at Zenit St Petersburg and he will be out of action for a least a month," the FSS said.

Donadoni: New Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni has denied reports he previously talked with Milan about taking over at the San Siro next season. "There was no contact with Milan. Napoli was my first choice," the former Italy coach told a news conference before the match between the two sides today.

Mancini: Roberto Mancini, sacked as Inter coach last May, has yet to settle his contract with the Italian champions and has joked that he would have to return if current boss Jose Mourinho left. "I am under contract for the next three years but I think Inter don't need a coach at the moment. If they recalled me, I would be obliged to go back," he told Rai television.

Ronaldo: Cristiano Ronaldo's godfather Fernao Sousa and cousin Luis Felipe have encouraged him to leave Manchester United to join Real Madrid. Luis Felipe added: "He's won everything with United and he needs new challenges with a new team."

Cricket: England claimed their first international win since August in farcical circumstances when West Indies miscalculated the Duckworth-Lewis target at the end of the opening one-dayer in Guyana. West Indies, chasing England's 50-over total of 270 for seven, were offered the chance to go off due to bad light and their coach John Dyson beckoned the batsmen off the field. The home team, however, were one run short of the Duckworth-Lewis target and with no opportunity to return to the field, England were declared winners.
