Jacob Borg had a fine evening as he led the race from start to finish after taking pole from the qualifiers.
Zack Zammit, in need of points to keep up with the leader, placed second ahead of George Briffa as a pack of six drivers all finished within a short distance from each other in a very exciting race.

In the Novices, Luke Micallef started from pole for the fifth time this season and led the race in the initial part. But, Ryan Scerri had other ideas as he stormed to victory for his second consecutive win.
Now, Scerri is just six points away from Micallef in the overall standings with four races to go.
Jack Fenech had an impressive outing to finish second.
