The inquiry board which had to analyse the criminal and civil liabilities which resulted from inferior concrete used in some areas of Mater Dei’s accident and emergency department had concluded its work and was preparing its report, Health Parliamentary Secretary Chris Fearne said this evening.

He said the government would be publishing the report once it was concluded.

Replying to a parliamentary questions by Nationalist MPs Censu Galea and Claudette Buttigieg, the minister said that stress tests had confirmed weak concrete structures in some areas and checking on the structures in other areas was ongoing.
