Archbishop Charles Scicluna paused for a few emotional moments at St John’s Co-Cathedral as he acknowledged his late father, Emanuel, who died in Rome on July 2 after travelling to watch the Pope bless the pallium that his son received from Nuncio Mario Roberto Cassari during an investiture ceremony yesterday. The woollen vestment is given to newly-appointed archbishops.
