Celebrity interviews are back with this season's edition of E&D, The Times' food and drink magazine, as chef and reality TV star Antony Worrall Thompson presents some of his most delicious recipes while telling E&D readers all about food, fame and fortune.
Tomorrow's issue treats readers to a scrumptious celebration of everything that's guaranteed to tickle our taste-buds. This year, Easter knocks on our doors earlier than usual, bringing with it the usual cravings for sweet goodies. While the Maltese are rightly well-known for figolli and kwareżimal, those almondy treats that are so addictive, this year we decided to offer an equally yummy alternative to these popular staples. Easter lunch remains a huge family occasion on our island, although many frustrated cooks have been known to give up in despair at the prospect of preparing the traditional roast lamb for a boisterous and hungry family. While not an easy dish to pull off, Concita Demicoli comes to the rescue with her beautifully prepared and foolproof version.
As usual, E&D also takes a look at other people's culinary passions. TV personality John Demanuele is persuaded to part with his secret recipe for homemade limoncello while Shelley Tajar offers us a fascinating insight into Jewish culture by sharing her experiences of the Passover ritual, which is being commemorated this April.
That's not all - watch out for our special travel feature which this month focuses on Russia, Gloria Mizzi's highly-popular Q&A column as well as lots more recipes to try out and enjoy. Finally, don't forget to take part in the competitions; you can win some fabulous prizes!
E&D's Easter issue will be distributed free with The Times tomorrow. Published by Allied Newspapers Limited, this quarterly magazine is edited by Ramona Depares and designed by MediaMaker Limited.
