Finance Minister Tonio Fenech told Parliament yesterday that Arms Ltd currently had a management team of four, whose salaries vary between €29,419 and €38,219.
Answering a question by Gino Cauchi (PL) on the financial compensation given to the persons who were running the company and their managerial grade, the minister said there were four managers – the chief information officer, the policy and strategy manager, the project manger – automated metering and the financial controller.
All have a maximum communication expense allowance of €1,396, a health expenditure allowance of €466, a car allowance of €3,395 and a petrol allowance of €2,080.
All except the project manager had an expense allowance of €1,164.
The chief information officer had a professional development allowance of €1,200 while the allowance for the others varies between €900 and €932. The policy and strategy manager and the project manager have a subscriptions allowance of €233.
The project manager and the financial controller have a disturbance allowance of €3,494 and an on-call allowance of €2,329. The project manager also has a post graduate allowance of €932.
