BORG. On September 20, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, MARIA from Mosta, residing in San Ġwann, aged 84, passed peacefully away surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Monica and Remo Zanella, Josephine and her husband Gianluigi Zanella, Diane and her husband Raymond Zammit, Philip and Mariella, Mark and Flava, owners of Tower Supermarket, Sliema, Rose and her husband Ray Attard Previ, Emil, Micol and her husband Mark Hefford, her grandchildren Neil, Matthew, Christian,Ryan, Thomas, Lara, Miguel, Michael, Daniela, Benjamin, Timothy and her great grandson Julian, her brothers and sisters and their husbands and wives, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow, at 2.45pm for San Ġwann parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CASSAR. On September 21, at Karin Grech Hospital, JOHN, of Santa Venera, aged 90, widower of Carmen, residing at Mosta Elderly Home, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Emanuel and his wife Mary, Reggie and his wife Rita, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Fleur-De-Lys parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza in Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CHETCUTI. On September 21, CARMEL, aged 63, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Antida, his children Stefania, Luana and her boyfriend Jeffrey and Christian; brothers Anthony and wife Josephine, Vince and Joseph; sisters Rose, Annie, Mary, Vivienne and her husband Colin, in-laws, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at MAU3 at Mater Dei Hospital. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at Mosta parish church today at 4pm. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Community Chest Fund will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
