The marriage took place on Friday, August 20 at Gozo Cathedral, between ALAN, son of Mr and Mrs Louis Agius, and DEBORAH, daughter of Dr and Mrs Grazio Mercieca, both of Victoria. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Mgr Joseph Farrugia. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr Stephanie Camilleri and Mr Earl Vella. Dr Shawn Agius carried out the duties of best man and the bride was attended by Caroline Mercieca, Pippa Agius and Sarah Hili. Mr Anton Mercieca and Mr Thomas Agius were groomsmen. A reception was later held at Ta’ Frenċ Restaurant. The couple will be spending their honeymoon in Las Vegas and cruising the Caribbean.

BORG. On August 28, at Villa Messina, Rabat, MARY, aged 87, widow of Effie, of Floriana, residing in Fgura, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his children Mary and her husband Michael Camilleri, Joe and his wife Gloria, Doris and her husband Silvio Attard, and Maris and her husband Charles Grech, his grandchildren Alex, Colette, Andrew, Simon, Christopher, Michelle, Christianne and Elizabeth and his great-grandchildren Maria, Elisa, Gianluca, Maya and Michela.
