GATT. On May 14, at St Catherine's Home for the Elderly, Attard, Sr IRENE GATT, OP, aged 88, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Ġemma and Mary, her brother Tarcisio and his wife Maria, Ivy, widow of her brother Joseph, her nephews and nieces Frankie, Maryanne, Philip, Tonio and Joseph Galea, Maryrose, Joseph, Philip and Lino Mallia, Pierre and Michael Gatt and their respective families and her sisters of the Dominican congregation. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at St Catherine's Home today at 2 p.m. followed by interment at the Dominican Sisters congregation vault at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to St Catherine's Home will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

She will be remembered for her strong faith, her steadfast love for her husband and family and her sense of humour.
