Mr KARL RIZZO NAUDI and Miss MELANIE FLERI SOLER
The marriage took place on Saturday, April 10, at St Mary's parish church, Attard, between KARL, son of Dr and Mrs Mario Rizzo Naudi of Għaxaq, and MELANIE, daughter of Mr and Mrs Mark Fleri Soler of Guardamangia. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Claude Portelli. Witnessing the ceremony were the bride's uncle, Mr Mark Tabone, and Mr Mark Buttigieg. Mr Julian Rizzo Naudi, the groom's brother, carried out the duties of best man. The bride was attended by Miss Nicola von Brockdorff and Miss Ella Fleri Soler. Miss Emma Tabone was flower-girl. A reception was later held at Villa Arrigo, San Pawl tat-Tarġa.
Obituary
DEBRINCAT. On April 13, at Gozo General Hospital, MARIA, née Grima, widow of Kelinu, aged 93, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mary, widow of Joe Sultana, Joe and his wife Mary, George and his wife Donna, Gloria and her husband Frans Portelli, Antoinette, widow of Roger Portelli, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends of the family. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow at 3.45 p.m. for the Gozo Cathedral, Victoria, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment at Għarb cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal peace.
FLERI. On April 15, in Rome, ANTONIA (Nina), née Borg, at the venerable age of 100 and one month, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved son Marino, former Italian ambassador to Malta, and his wife Michèle, her grandchildren Renato, Fabrizio, Diane, and Fabia, her nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends in Malta and Italy. The funeral took place yesterday in Rome. We have loved her during life, let us not forget her in our prayers after her death (St Ambrose).
GALEA NAUDI. On April 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, aged 86, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, his children Mariella and husband Simon, Juan and Alfio, his grandchildren Marquita and husband Aaron, Michela, Greta, Luke, Lisa-Maire and Tara-Anne other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Special thanks go to the professor and his team for their enormous support throughout the very short illness of baby BEN who passed away at the tender age of 10 days on April 10, 2010.
