BORDA. On April 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUISE (Ġiġia) of Sliema, widow of Alfred, aged 99, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Monica and her husband Joseph Zammit, Catherine and her husband David Yost, and Sr Maria of the Medical Missionaries of Mary, her grandchildren Marcella and her husband John Muscat, Carlo, Aldo, Bianca and Sergio, and her great-grandson Nick, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. EU funding
Applications for health-related projects worth up to €37 million will soon open under the EU's regional fund.
The project proposals are related to the health sector and will be part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2007 - 2013.
The project falls under the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division within the Office of the Prime Minister.
