BECK. On December 23, at his residence, Dr ARMIN of Germany, who for the last four years was residing in Mellieħa, aged 101, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lidiya, his brother Heiner and his numerous friends from all over the world, especially beneficiaries of the International Charity Foundation which he has founded. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, December 27 at 2.15pm, for Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Sultana tal-Vittorji cemetery in Mellieħa. DEBONO. On December 25, CARMEL of Birkirkara, aged 94, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital. He leaves to mourn his loss his children John and his wife Therese, Gaston and his wife Mary Anne, Joseph and his wife Mary, Paul and his wife Anne, Rosanne and her husband Teddy, Helen and her husband Phill, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brothers and their spouses, nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, December 28, at 1.30pm for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by internment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SPITERI. On December 23, at Casa Antonia, GIOVANNA, widow of Not. Dr. Joseph Spiteri, aged 97, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her beloved children Tonio and his wife Liliana, Nello and his wife Amanda, Rita and her husband Paul, Marisa and her husband Alan, John and his wife Roanne, her grandchildren Lara, Ian, Maria, Philippa, Lindy, Kathy, Myrthe, Emma, Sarah, Julia, Christine, Michael, Sean, Ella, Luke and their respective spouses and fiancés. She also leaves to mourn her loss, her great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. A funeral cortege will leave Casa Antonio on Friday, December 28 at 8.15am. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at the Naxxar parish church at 8.45am, followed by internment at St George’s Cemetery, Naxxar. Special thanks go to the staff at Casa Antonia for their great love and dedication shown to her during her stay. May God grant her eternal rest.
PISANI. On December 25, CARMEN, widow of Gerald passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joseph, Anna, Anthony and their spouses, Mary Grace and her husband Ramon, her nephews Aaron and Luke, her niece Lounelle and her boyfriend Clive Psaila and Miguel, her sister Mary and her husband Alfred Mifsud, her in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, on Friday, December 28, at 8am. where Mass præsente cadavere will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Gżira 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Għargħur Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Movement, Balzan will be greatly appreciated. The family regrets that they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
