Għarb council and the Pope John Paul II National Monument Committee recently organised a concert by the Willington School Boys' Choir at the village church. The concert marked the 30th anniversary of the election of John Paul II and the second anniversary of the inauguration of a monument to him. The boys' choir, founded in 1889, was conducted by Caitlin Crabtree, and was accompanied on the organ by Oliver Waterer. The choir performed sacred music, folk songs from around the world, and classics from West End musicals.
