Pleading for the title of this story not to read Banker Wins The Times Word Game, it was the turn of bubbly bank employee Rosalie Gauci to win an Albertours paid trip to Morocco this time round.

The 36-year-old from Rabat won the word game series which ended on October 29 and therefore a seven-night trip for two to Morocco, a Lm50 Malta International Airport shopping voucher and a year's membership in the Scrabble Club.

"I hope the title won't read Banker Wins Word Game... please no," she said, jokingly, when asked what she does for a living, showing in the process that she really is an avid gamer since the title to the story announcing last time's winner read Doctor Wins Word Game.

Word games are something of a passion for her, Ms Gauci admitted, saying that she often takes part in similar competitions. "I always look up these games. It's a fun thing... I mean yes it takes a bit of thinking but ultimately I do it because it's fun."

As for the trip itself, Ms Gauci said she is really looking forward to it. "Morocco is definitively a place I want to visit. I'll be taking a friend or my sister," she explained enthusiastically.

The present word game series which started on November 5 will take the winner on a Mondial Group tour between January 3 and 12 to Dubai. The winner will also get a year's membership in the Scrabble Club.
