Fr Gabriel Everitt, headmaster of Ampleforth College, York, England, will be visiting Malta this week, to meet prospective students of the college and their parents.

The college, which is run by Benedictine fathers, has been active in Ampleforth for over two centuries.

“An Ampleforth education provides the girls and boys with a spiritual compass for life,” said Fr Everitt.

The headmaster stressed that the Benedictine community was “interested in more than worldly success”; students receive “an education that goes beyond academic excellence and all their other achievements”.
