Melita’s brand and communications manager Alison Bezzina has successfully completed training in social marketing by the eMarketing Association, becoming Malta’s first Certified Social Marketing Associate.
As part of her brand and communications role, Ms Bezzina, who is also a resident blogger on timesofmalta.com, coordinates communications on Melita’s Facbeook page which currently has well over 30,000 fans.
The page is updated and monitored daily as a joint effort by the marketing and customer care teams. The social media effort is part of the Melita’s strategy to increase customer touch points, giving customers opportunities to contact the company as well as enabling the company to respond quicker to customer feedback.
The eMarketing Association (eMA) is an association of emarketing professionals.
Members include governments, companies, professionals, and students involved with the emarketing arena.
