Air Malta has denied a report that it is to lease out a third aircraft.

The report was published in The Malta Business Weekly.

"The Air Malta fleet consists of 12 aircraft, one of which is leased-out to Interjet in Mexico. The airline is currently also trying to lease-out its 11th aircraft. This leaves a fleet of 10 aircraft which Air Malta will operate in summer 2012," the company said.
