An exotic culinary night of wine pairing was hosted by The Wine Boutique Franks, at TemptAsian restaurant in The Palace, Sliema.
The selection of mouth-watering dishes was prepared by The Palace’s executive chef Joseph Xuereb and his team.
Sauvignon Blanc was served with sushi; Chardonnay was accompanied by steamed salmon sashimi and grilled prawns; while Pinot Gris was served with Peking duck. A glass of Pinot Noir was paired with the teppanyaki mixed barbecue.
To conclude the pleasant evening, Gewürztraminer was served with an apple and cinnamon dessert.
