It appears I have ruffled Rodolfo Ragonesi by not agreeing with his one-sided look at Winston Churchill.
In his railings, Ragonesi was in such a hurry to score cheap points he not only shot himself in the foot twice he blew it off.
Surely a man of his learning can see, being from Malta, an island Hitler and the Axis forces tried to bomb off the face of the earth along with the likes of London, Sheffield, Manchester and others had Hitler not been defeated by the allies after the convoy of Santa Marija and the actions of the RAF based in Ta’ Qali (maybe he should visit the museum or read Faith, Hope and Charity), his parents would be living under the Third Reich and he probably would not have been born.
What made me laugh most was his statement that “Leaders should not be put on pedestals”. Joseph Muscat seems to fit that with his band of miscreants who, despite the murder of a journalist (The Slovakian Prime Minister and ministers stood down after such an event there) and numerous scandals recently carry on notwithstanding.
So maybe his five years of study did not paint a clear enough picture. Perhaps it would be best go back to the studies and do a Masters.
