A total of 162 students are following online courses with the University of Malta: 127 reading for BSc (Hons) Health Science, 30 for Master in Contemporary Diplomacy and five for Master in Performance Studies (Dance).

Answering a parliamentary question, Evarist Bartolo said the University Senate has set up a committee to see what resources – human, infrastructural, training and incentive – were needed to help all faculties design courses which can be given online at professional levels.
